Mere Town Under 8’s started at the club as the Mere Town Minis in August 2023, spending their first year at the club training and playing friendlies. They then progressed to becoming the youngest ever team to represent Mere Town in the Dorset Mini Football League (under 7’s) at the beginning of the 2024/25 season. 

 

Managed by Adrian Tatum and Assistant Coach Louis Garrett, the team made great progress in their first season in league football, with the whole squad showing signs of improvement against some very tough opposition.  

 

The team has spent the summer playing various tournaments around Dorset and Somerset and is now back preparing for the 2025/26 season.
